Check out AuthenTEAK's new press page. Read all the latest magazine and newspaper articles featuring AuthenTEAK. We were recently featured in Atlanta Home Improvement Magazine for their August 2011 issue. This article features AuthenTEAK's nomination for being a finalist for the International Casual Furnishings Association's 2011 Apollo Awards, which recognizes retail excellence in the sales and marketing of outdoor furnishings. Both Eric Brenner and Damon Fogel (co-owners of AuthenTEAK) will be traveling in September to attend the award ceremony. This is AuthenTEAK's second nomination for the Apollo Award. We are hoping for a win! AuthenTEAK's staff takes pride in providing outstanding customer service and product knowledge. We are humbled by this nomination and see all of AuthenTEAK's hard work be acknowledge in the outdoor furnishing industry.

Preview New Outdoor Living Products at Authenteak by Dave Leonard

Why does Atlanta go outside? To Grill! Grilling season is here, so get your curling irons out! WHAT? Okay, I’m taking a little creative liberty here with Authenteak’s new grilling accessory from Looft. Bottom line, this new device will fully light charcoal within 5 minutes, and yes I want one. Eric Brenner, the co-owner of Authenteak, was kind enough to demonstrate this new “green” device during our recent visit to the showroom.

Eric also shared with us several new American-made products that will make your backyard an original in your ‘hood. In fact, he turned us on to the new Kamado Joeceramic grill manufactured in nearby Flowery Branch. The Big Green Egg competitor is setting a new benchmark for the industry, and we local Atlanta outdoor cooks get to benefit from it!

During my visit, I also saw several new outdoor furniture collections such as the Cloud Collection by Gloster, a standout if you are looking for a durable, modern-style sectional system for your back deck. The best part is you can leave the cushions out all year long because they are weather-proof and waterproof, which is perfect for all-season outdoor living in Atlanta. No more mad dashes during a rain storm to keep the fabric dry or ugly winter tarps.

What can we say?
