Authenteak Outdoor Furniture is excited to announce the addition of Century Leisure Outdoor Furniture to its lineup of brands . For 2009, we will be featuring five collections in our 15,000 square foot showroom, as well as on our website. Current collections available for viewing are Denpesar, made of all-weather wicker; Archipelago, made of teak; Andelusia, made of cast aluminum ;and Metropolitan, which is a unique retro modern design combining upholstered sides with a teak frame. In addition to the new for 2009 Metropolitan collection, in early December, we will be adding the other new collection for 2009 called the Riviera made of cast aluminum.
Each of the five Century Furniture collections we display are designed by Richard Frinier and help bring the travel-inspired ultraluxe resort feel to the backyard. Each diverse collection contains a variety of pieces that are customizable to create you own personal style.
In addition to the Century Leisure Furniture, we will continue to display large groupings of outdoor furniture by Gloster, Barlow Tyrie, Windham Castings, Castelle, Laneventure and Kingsley-Bate.

April 1st marks the beginning of pollen season around Atlanta and the Southeast. Bringing in your cushions for the next few weeks, when not in use, saves on cleaning time as you prepare to use your outdoor furniture during the peak Spring season. Another good option for keeping your cushions clean and limiting your maintenence to a minimum is to cover your furniture with our Treasure Garden furniture covers. These covers are an easy way to protect your investment in your outdoor furniture.

Showroom Expansion

We're expanding our showroom by 60% this Spring to have a total foot print of 15,000 sq. ft. We've also doubled our on-site warehouse capacity to 10,000 sq. ft.
The additional showroom space will allow us to diversify our product offering even more. While our heritage is teak furniture and we display more options than anyone else in Georgia, we also display an extremely diverse selection of woven all-weather wicker, cast aluminum, stone and mixed-material furniture.
Two other major additions to our outdoor furniture showroom this year are Outdoor Kitchens and All-weather HD TVs.
We've expanded beyond the Primo Grills/Smokers to highight Lynx Professional Grills and Calise Outdoor Kitchen Concepts.
The HD all-weather televisions are from SunBrite TV and are available in 23", 32" and 46" sizes.

We just confirmed the date for this year's spring party in our expanded showroom. The date is April 13th from 3 - 7pm. We'll have large screen HD televisions showing the event and food will be provided by Primo Grills. We will have door prizes for all those in attendence and the evening will culminate by having a Long Drive contest.

PGA Superstore is co-sponsoring the party and will be bringing the latest equipment to test drive, as well as donating the items for the Long Drive Contest.
A cooking demonstration by Kevin of Primo Grills will be take place at 3:15.

In addition to the Long Drive Contest, we expect that an appearance by Tiger Woods will be the highlight of the afternoon. Well...okay, so maybe I'm kidding about his appearance. His RSVP says that he's pretty sure he'll have a conflict that afternoon, but to save a plate for him just in case....

Teak Cleaning

The best time to clean and protect your outdoor teak furniture in/around the Southeast (GA, ALA, SC, etc.) is Spring. The pollen season is beginning now and will last well into April. Once the pollen clears out of the air, we recommend hosing off your furniture using a "car wash" attachment for added water flow. Do Not pressure wash your furniture. Scrubbing any stubborn areas with a non-abrasive nylon bristle brush will help clean your furniture. Be careful on painted surfaces by begin on the underside to ensure that your brushsrokes are safe. Please respect and obey any Water Restrictions in effect in your area.
